We assess student learning each term on a designated Assessment Day, with selected Learning Goal Assessments administered in the undergraduate and MBA capstone courses. Our Learning Goal Assessments provide data that enable us to continually improve what we teach and how it’s taught. Further, the Willumstad School of Business established a Learning Assessment Committee, LAC (previously Learning Assurance Group), in fall 2002. Since then, the LAC has been actively involved in systematically monitoring and evaluating the delivery of curricula in our undergraduate and graduate degree programs. LAC consists of faculty representatives from various disciplines in the School of Business and is chaired by a faculty member. The two department chairs and the Associate Dean of the School serve as ex-officio members of the LAC.
