M.A. in Psychology/ACHR

Your M.A. in psychology is a valuable asset in management.

An M.A. in General Psychology is designed to serve three broad groups:

  • Students who wish to acquire knowledge in psychology to advance an already established career path
  • Students who have an interest in future doctoral-level training, but who need to develop a more competitive application
  • Students who have a general interest in learning more about psychology and human behavior

Human resource management expertise complements and extends an M.A. in psychology to students who are interested in organizational leadership. To earn the Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management (ACHR), students take five courses in Human Resource Management as part of their concentration in industrial-organizational psychology. Please consult the Derner Institute website for further information about Adelphi’s psychology programs.
