B.B.A. in Accounting/M.B.A. Five-Year Program

We’ve streamlined your route to an advanced degree.

Students who plan for a career in public accounting should be aware that the requirements to obtain the CPA license in New York State as well as many other states have changed. This change requires that candidates must complete at least 150 credit hours of college education prior to applying for a license. Our undergraduate accounting majors can obtain an M.B.A. with a specialization in accounting and meet the New York State requirements by completing the courses listed in the Plan of Study.

Any applicant with a B.B.A. in Accounting from the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business is qualified to enter the fifth year at Adelphi if they meet the admission requirements for our M.B.A. program. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or other disciplines, earned from other institutions, may be admitted to the fifth year in the program based upon the completion of required accounting and business courses. Before taking graduate-level courses, students must achieve a minimum acceptable score on the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT).
