Scholarships and Awards

Carol Ammon Scholarship

In the previous five academic school years, the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business has awarded more than $230,000 in scholarship money to 92 incoming graduate business students via the Carol Ammon Scholarship. Any student becomes an automatic recipient of this scholarship by achieving exemplary scores on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). The one-time scholarship awards up to $5,000 based on the following criteria:

  • 500 to 550—$1,000 scholarship
  • 550 to 600—$2,500 scholarship
  • 600 and higher—$5,000 scholarship

The Carol Ammon Scholarship is a product of the Willumstad School of Business Challenge Grant, funded by Carol Ammon, MBA ’79, who promised a $500,000 match if the School’s alumni and friends could raise $250,000 in 90 days—a challenge that was accomplished to help you achieve your goals and future.

Adelphi University Business Award
Business Awards are offered to new, full-time freshman students who have a declared major of business and are recipients of Adelphi academic scholarships.
