The Impact of Technological Changes on Financial Reporting, Accounting, Auditing and Taxation


The focus of this panel discussion will be on how recent changes in technology have had a significant impact on financial reporting, accounting, auditing and taxation. It will be led by our moderator, Rachel Foley, who is the Executive Vice President of the Accounting Society. The panel will consist of:

  • Len Labita, Vice President & Controller of the New York Mets
  • Liz Robinson (partner) and Victor Parbat (senior associate) from PwC
  • Alaina Sammartano (senior manager) and Billy Barbaro (senior associate) from EY

The panelists will be sharing their experiences regarding the need for professionals to enhance their skills and understanding of the many technological changes that have occurred and how the rapidly changing world of technology has substantially changed processes in today’s work environment.
